Biscuits
2 c flour, sifted
1 tbls. Baking powder
1.5 tbls granulated sugar
1tsp salt
1 stick (8 tbls) European butter, frozen
3/4 whole milk
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well with a whisk, set aside.
Grate frozen butter with the large holes of a box grater. Then, mix gently with flour mixture use a spoon or spatula (your hand will warm the dough.)
Once dough comes together gently flatten to one inch thick, then fold in half, turn flatten again, then fold. Repeat five to six times. Then flatten to 1 inch thick, use biscuit cutter to cut bisquets, place on cookie sheet half inch apart.
Bake at 425 degrees, for about 15 minutes, until tops are light golden brown.
